Aelumed

Aelumed, born Nehemie Balume on January 15, 2009, in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, is an independent underground artist and founder of Ukiwame Productions. His sound blends hip-hop, rap, and R&B into something distinctly his own, carried by a versatile voice and flow that shifts with whatever the song calls for. He attends Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville, Maryland, in the DMV.

Aelumed writes melodic rap built around wordplay that has to earn its place — every line designed so both halves illuminate each other, not just rhyme. Emotionally direct and lyrically dense, Aelumed's catalog moves fluidly between moody, alternative textures ("PINK STATIC," "nosebleed," "static") and warmer, romantic songwriting ("BORN TO LOVE," "Love is a beautiful thing," "Ivy") — often within the same project.
